Maintenance of black glossy wheels
Dear Car Owner,
Your choice of those stunning glossy black wheels is a source of pride, and I completely understand why. However, it’s crucial to be aware that the glossy wheels are among the most sensitive parts of your car. Most likely, the seller may not have provided you with this vital information, which is why I’m here to help.
Glossy wheels
Black glossy wheels require special care and unique techniques to prevent scratches during the washing process. It’s crucial to follow these steps before it’s too late:
1. Begin by spraying a wheel cleaner that is free of acid and contains a pH-neutral iron removal solution onto the wheels.
2. Allow the cleaner to sit for a few minutes, and then rinse the wheels thoroughly.
3. To ensure a thorough cleaning, repeat steps 1 and 2.
4. After the second rinse, spray the wheel cleaner and iron removal solution again. On top of this, apply a generous layer of snow foam.
5. Immediately proceed to wash the wheels, using a microfiber mitt or wool mitt. Remember to use a different mitt for each wheel.
6. After washing, rinse the wheels with water, and then dry them using an air blower specifically designed for cars (not leaves). If you don’t have an air blower, a soft, damp microfiber towel will work.
7. Apply wheel sealant and buff it off.
As always If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Your glossy black wheels will undoubtedly thank you for this extra care in the long run.
Many Thanks
